In Alleys Dark is a Push Powered tabletop RPG set in the 1920s city of Rankston, a place where the law is bought, broken, or both. Players are members of The Shiners, a secret guild of justice seekers doing the work that corrupt officials won't. Everyone at the table is a player. There is no GM and no prep.
Mayor Baker and his rival Councilman Patterson sling mud at each other for the pretense of political prestige, but the real power belongs to Commissioner Kelly alone. The Department uses the violent mysteries that plague this city as impetus to incriminate anyone with the audacity to stand in their way.
